Welcome Message from the OC Chair
Dear colleagues, dear friends,
It has been long five years since we could meet in person at the last face-to-face IASCL congress in Lyon. Much shorter two years separate us now before we can meet again. I would like to extend to you my most cordial invitation to the Prague congress in 2024.
We want to continue in the great tradition of IASCL congresses, so you can expect the usual mix of keynote addresses, symposia and posters, but also some novel components. We have chosen a motto for the incoming congress: “Embracing the complexity of languages”. It conveys our goal to highlight linguistic diversity and acquisition research in “smaller” and underexplored languages. We also plan to stress the current directions in collaborative and open science and their use in studying the development of language in children. Please check this website occasionally for the upcoming news about the congress. We plan to open submissions in late spring 2023.
